INTRODUCING YOUR BENE BAG -- WHICH IS TRULY ONE OF A KIND.

Each leather hide has natural color grain variations, and this is part of what makes it individually yours. Slight differences in color and texture are natural characteristics of leather. 

We believe that pieces get better with wear and love a “lived-in look,” but we also promote taking care of your products with intention. In order to promote the longevity of your BENE Bag, we recommend the following product care tips:

  • Do not overfill or stuff your BENE, as it may lose shape or damage the integrity of the construction.

  • Avoid exposing your bag to constant sunlight, water and salt water areas.

  •  Please avoid contact with clothing with strong dyes (such as dark jeans) as they may stain leather.

  • Your accessory is best stored in its provided dust bag when not in use. 

  • Take extra care with light-colored items – which tend to mark more easily. They can be susceptible to discoloration; avoid contact with darker items.

  • Buffalo hide and smooth, calfskin leathers may scratch more easily. Although we believe that this adds character to the piece, we ask that you treat your bag accordingly. 

Special Materials: 

Whether you chose a textured leather, a suede, or a metallic piece: You made the right choice!

Metallic leather is delicate; we advise that you avoid rubbing and contact with abrasive materials. Additionally, avoid contact with products (such as lotions, soaps, and gels) and alcohol-based agents, as they may cause a chemical reaction and cause damage. Avoid exposing products to extreme heat or damp conditions. We prioritize telling you this upfront in order to help promote + ensure the longevity of your BENE.

Warranty & Repair:

BENE handbags carry a 12-month guarantee. In the unlikely event your handbag needs repair (e.g. a lock or clasp needs to be restitched; non-cosmetic damages) within 12 months of the purchase date, we ask that you get in touch with us. Our team will work with you to arrange the product collection, repair the product, and ship the product back to your chosen address – free of charge.  

A receipt of purchase from one of our authorized stores will be required. Please note that cosmetic damages (normal wear and tear of the leather) are excluded from the guarantee, and we are unable to repair leather marks or stains. This also excludes the softening of the bag’s shape [from use] that often occurs with leather goods – as these are not faults based on quality.

Should your handbag need repairing after 12 months, we also offer a repair service. The cost of this service varies from case to case, and our team will work with you to find the best solution based on your individual need. Please note that in the event of a hardware issue, we are unable to replace pieces that have been discontinued.
